This lot consists of 8 issues from the 1940 Volume 1 Batman DC comic book series. Issues#432-439. These comics are in excellent condition for the most part, considering their age. A couple of the issues have a single small tear that lowers their grade, but most are smooth, flat and clean. Covers are glossy with bright colors still. Most notable are creases on most of the books on the bottom left, as they were stored for a length of time in a box that was not full and they bowed. Pages are off-white to cream. These comics are raw grade, direct editions. Pictures indicate the condition of the books, scans are of the actual books. While not a professional grader, I would consider the books to range in condition from in F/NM condition, although one should allow for variances in grade value interpretations. In the end, you are paying for the perceived value of the books and fair market value, not the specific Grade Letter/#. All of our books are shipped bagged and boarded.
