Taxman #1 : Front and Back covers both have almost no visible flaws. Covers are both smooth and shiny, with bright colors. A few minor creases along the spine. Some minor wear on a couple of the corners. A few minor indentations on both covers that are mostly only visible at angle. Pages are white, crisp and clean. This comic is raw grade, direct edition. Pictures indicate the condition of the book, scans are of the actual book. While not a professional grader I would consider the book to be in VF/NM condition, although one should allow for variances in grade value interpretations. In the end, you are paying for the perceived value of the book and fair market value not the specific Grade Letter/#. All our books are shipped bagged and boarded.
